Farm

The Kicińscy Homestead was established by Antoni Kiciński in Karna following the Second World War. The homestead comprised a small number of farm buildings situated on a few hectares of cultivated land.

In the 1970s, Andrzej Kiciński took over the farm. He changed the farm’s focus from milk production to pig farming. Over the years, the farm and homestead grew. New buildings were built and the farmland was expanded. In the 1990s, the farm started growing onions.
The farm work is managed by Marcin and Szymon, sons of Andrzej Kiciński. Marcin is responsible for pigs and crop production, while Szymon oversees transportation and onion production and processing.

The cultivated onion varieties are the most efficient and have a long storage life. After the harvest, the onions are transported to the storehouses where they serve as a manufacturing base for the Kiciński Company. In addition to onions, we cultivate various plants, including canola, barley, corn, rye, wheat and triticale. The crops are used as pig feed. Our high-quality livestock has been appreciated by our clients, who are the largest meat processing plants in Poland and abroad.
